Anyone remember why "The Subway Journal" existed? Plus, this is a great new concept in publciity- people should just write stories about themselves and their friends.

Wasn't the Subway Journal started because of some sort of censorship issue with the High Arrow?

Or did a few people hijack a mimeograph machine and decide to make their own fun?

I can't recall. It's a great photo, though I don't remember this moment either. Was this just before the Funny Men debut in Mt Pleasant, Pennsylvania?

Yeah eric, I think it was a leisure suit jacket. seriosuly.

I think it was some censorship issue- like a muck raking article about school lunches that got tossed.

It had something to do with Fred Kunkle, I think.
