I'm never completely sure of these clashing of worlds kind of things, like Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach or Rod Stewart and disco. It's a little unsettling. Can't everyone just do what they're supposed to do?
You are entitled, but I love David Bowie in this. Big Bowie fan here! (He touched my right hand during a concert in Chapel Hill; I unfortunately had to wash it before my son was born)

I kinda like things like this. It helps me at least to think outside the box, to be more accepting, to see a larger picture than the one I'm used to seeing.
