Nell York City

The Fabulous Nell and I had a Fabulous day running around New York City. We had brunch at Tavern on the Green and then walked around looking at the sites and especially the Christmas decorations. Fun!! We also spent a s-i-g-n-i-f-i-c-a-n-t amount of time working on a little project for *Tabishland!* but you will have to wait a few more days to find out about that. We talked about all of you, mostly in a positive sense, and had a great time in general. More people should come visit me!!!!!!!

Comments:
Anyone else think it looks like Kim is in front of one of those fake backdrops at a Sears Photo Center?

Shoot. They're on to us, Nell. Although they thought I was at Sears, not Walmart (which really does have better prices for fake backdrops), and didn't seem to tumble to you being at Yellow Crick instead of the glorious Central Park. Oh, well. Just wait until they see in a few days how we've faked our Tabishland project (heh heh heh.)

Tavern on the Green, eh? For the record, Kim took EJ and I to the falafel cart on 67th when we met in NYC. And she wouldn't even pay for extra tahini. What makes The fabulous Nell so damn special?

That's OK, the TOTG has been second rate ever since it started drawing it's clientele from the depths of Hell. (Free hernia repair if you get the movie reference...)

Did you have the pierogis in the kielbasa-beer-mango reduction or the SQUARE smoked salmon --argula pizza?

The venison sausage pizzaburgers are to die for (is it the inhouse goatcheese or the heirloom tomato sauce?) But save room for the peanut butter confection sorbet with jello jewels.

All said Poli's still did fish better and you could never get a better value than Dean's Prime Rib Night.

Too bad Kim doesn't partake, the cosmopolitans and martinis made with the IC Light infused vodka are very refreshing.

I've started running my word verifications through an anagram generator. So far: "putin", "cmunoise" and "jpkgb". Not sure what it all means though.....

Where have you ever taken ME? You're lucky you got a falafel.

My new favorite thing about the blog is how Joe takes references from the recently defunct "We Love Mr. Pumliconni" blog (zombie) and interprets them into this blog- thereby creating a sort of "Mick Jagger imitates Willie Dixon" thing. My secret wish is that someone misinterprets one of them and goes on another tangent- thereby making a private joke out of a private joke about a private joke.

'Cause you know, David Johannson was just doing a Mick Jagger impression.

While ya'll were lunching in New York (hey Jeff- no Sondheim reference?) - in response to saying "well, at least my name's not Gwyneth" I was told to "be nice."

cryptically yours,

the crypt keeper.

Good grief...I can't understand a think you are writing about! I need a dictionary to understand Tim, and some kind of culture-translator to get Ian and Joe's stuff! I still love you all, though! Keep it coming! You're a bright spot in my day!

About NYC...it sounds like you girls had a blast!!!! Years ago when I was doing auditions there, I just wanted to survive my lonely voyages into the big city and make it back to Penn Station. Wish I had found TOTG!

Ha! Ha! I just read my own typo. It sounds like I have a stuffy nose! "I don't understand a 'think'..." Ummm...that was supposed to read 'thing.'

Back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Actually, Tim, there was too much falderal for any falafel purchase to be possible what with the heavy tourist volume. And we DID want to see what it feel like to BE the Ladies Who Lunch, Ian.

We had an enormously enjoyable time; you'll soon see the fruits of our "efforts".

Ian, you obtusenss eludes me. It's harder than reading James Joyce.

XOXOX
The Keymaster

I just noticed you typed "Yellow Crick", Kim. Funny girl.

What happened to the Pumlicooni blog?

dead

The Pumliconi Blog is dead, to begin with - there's no doubt about that. It is dead as a doornail.
