Christmas Lights Video
I don't know how Ian does that snazzy thing where he makes the video actually appear on the blog. Anyway, this is pretty cool, apparently the work of an electrical engineer with a lot of spare time and cash. The person who originally posted the video explains something about how it was done if you can get to the first page.

LOVE IT! I've been watching the lights programs on HGTV all month, but this one tops them all! Thanks, Kim!
I would so love to do something like that here. Each year I try to convince Don to put up more lights than the previous year. We're at the point where we need an electrician to add more transformers. (Of course I already have next year's plans in my head.)
We watched a CBS thing about a guy who did something like this with his whole neighborhood! Everything is computerized and synchronized for a 15 min. show. Part of the appeal, for me, is having the whole neighborhood working together. Kind of a post-modern block party.
