I've had salted caramels. They are wonderful! (I like them plain but they also have a chocolate covered version.)
 
Something I want to do is host a chocolate tasting party with all sorts of fabulous chocolate. Kind of like a wine tasting party but with chocolate.
 
I used to think "poor Nell", stuck in Indiana, eating at Tom's and shopping at the Bon Ton.

Find out she's had avant garde food items before me and listens to eclectic groups I'd never heard of. I bet she has a 10,000 bottle wine cellar and a helicopter at the Jimmy Stewart airport to fly to the invitation-only ateliers in Manhattan.

We once had a honey tasting party. Honey tastes differently depending on the pollen, and we bought about 15 different kinds (the kids and I). Then we toasted a bunch of bread and put butter and honey on it. You wouldn't believe the different flavors. This was when they were pretty small and I guess I was looking for ways to amuse myself!!
