Tablog Big Bang

Welcome To Tabishland!
Welcome to Tabishland - sort of like Disneyland but everything is painted brown and the only rides aren't fun: they're rewarding. This will be a group blog eventually and as soon as I figure blogging out, we can probably move the so-called "Kim Contrucci alter" here (hey, for the record I wasn't the only person who crushed on Kim - Ian, Chip, Eric, Gene, Francis, John, Scotty, Kevin- and I can only guess at the pre-1979 folks but I have some hunches). First on the agenda is making this a group blog. Back in a few.

Muffin-Sugarpie, it's the 104th day anniversary of our first blog date, didyouremember??? Cna we go to Poli's in Pixburgh to celebrate?

Comments:
You actually counted the days? You are such a good blog mate. We are so lucky to have you.

Poli's closed last year. How about the kosher/vegan & dairy cafe on Murray Ave.

So now, the blog, already soaked in idealized retro fantasy about the 70s and early 80s, goes one step further and goes retro on itself, with Tim posting an earlier posting as if it's a Camera Club candid from 1978.

Anyone up for a blog retirement party in 30 years? Pixburg'd be a good place for it.

Isn't there a phrase for music that becomes so smug and self-referential that it induces a hot sauce colon cleaner effect. I think it involves the words "cheesy", "sucks" or "desperate".

If not, then I'm sure you'll come up with a sniglet for it.

On the other hand, this could be seen as a sign that the blog is "maturing" and becoming "robust" (to use the favored political talking head term of the day).

btw, "julianne" (nee Laird?) made the first comment. When did we lose her from this? Does she know what she's missing?

Oh and Kim, YES, I counted the days. Because...because...well, because...it mattered...THAT MUCH. OK? Just leave me alone.

Tim: I'm worried. Please answer the following questions:
1. Do you believe in robust executive powers, if you will, of the blog administrator?
2. Do you think the blog is "makin' progress"?
3. Do you believe that as non-bloggers "stand up," that regular bloggers will "stand down"?

There's no doubt, this blog stands for Freedom against...well...ah...the emirates of Freedom. It's a crusade....m'kay?

And somebody should consider extreme coercive protocols to get Senator Jenkins on board....m'kay?

FYI, the musical style you described in post #5 would be "postmodern salsa."

Maybe Eric's still trying to figure out his lines for his role as the blog's stiff patriarchal WASP.

We'd certainly be better off with his presence. And maybe more responsible.

Julianne reads the blog - she comments occasionally. Most recently was a few weeks back. I'd have to look.
