SecondLife as just a slightly less crappy version of RealLife
So much for the web's social network as a virtual utopia. It may just be a pathetic way for adults to play Barbie dolls. "N.C.L.", I mean c'mon.

Of all the interesting ways in which the internet has made life a little different, this is the thing that strikes me as the most futuristic and creepy. Which means I'm fascinated by it as well. Isn't there a little town called Sendracs somewhere?

Most of our lives are actually played out in our heads anyway. This is why, as I get older, I think happiness is less about trying to achieve happy moments and more about achieving peace of mind.
