Happy Birthday, Joe!!

Let us all take a moment, bow our heads, and give thanks for the existence of the man that made all of this possible. Our Joe Pino.

From early days as an actor at Indiana High School, he dazzled audiences and squeezed the life out of teen-age girls.

As an adult, he imparted wisdom as a party guest, and dutifully logged the shenanigans of his fellow former classmates, all of which were clearly so embarrassing this video has never been seen (don’t think we hadn’t noticed, Joe).

Finally, immortalized as a puppet and a fake deer, he achieves the lofty status of Blogmaster, answerer of stupid questions, entertainer for slackers.

Joe….many happy returns! Many more years as our dear, dear friend.

Here, Here! Happy Birthday, Joe! Hope you have a great day and a fabulous year.

the movie is in progress but not finished. And ginger is already promised as the first recipient. Other orders will be considered on an individual basis.

One of my favorite trais of Joe's is his aversion to any fuss on his birthday.

hard cheese my friend.

PINO ROCKS!!!!

Happy Day Man, we love you, fuss, fuss, fuss, fuss,,,,

Well then he shouldn't have told me when his damned birthday was. Okay. I'm done with birthday tributes. You KNOW guys, sometimes it just an excuse to let someone know you're thinking of them or think they're a great person or have a burning desire to republish a grainy picture of them. Jeesh.

Kim don't stop...I want a Bday tribute, PAALEEEEZZZ! (do you have any pics from the Cow Barns???)

X-rated, baby. Okay, maybe PG.

Okay, GINGER gets a tribute.

Oh no Kim, I wasn't being critical- I whole-heartedly endorse the idea of making a fuss over people- especially Joe.

I'm sorry if my badly spelled, poorly formatted, cryptic e-posting didn't convey that.

In the immortal words of Eddie Arnold in his song Cowpoke:

"I ain't got a dime
In these old worn out jeans
So I'll stop eatin' steak
And go back to beans."

while Ian is correct that I pathologically avoid any fusses, having a daughter who seeks out any event to create a banner or plan some form of surprise has mellowed me a bit.

a virtual fuss I can take, though i remind you that any posting of pictures of me guarentees they will show up in some student's design journal or project collage.

Kim's birthday is coming up. Anyone with photos of the cow barns involving Ms. Andersen or her making teenage boys sweat should contact me privately....

Late!!!!!! But !!!!! happy birthday Joe. I have to agree with Ginger -- PINO ROCKS! And shouldn't I get the first copy of that video??????????

No fuss: HBD

Sorry this is late, Joe. I've been predisposed during the last week.

Happy Birthday to YOU!!!!! You have done a wonderful thing with this blog!!!!
