Rock Artwork Quiz

Just what yunz all need with the post-holiday spare time you have. I was able to get 37 correct. Click on the link and start entering your guesses. Some ar easy, some are quite difficult.

And no, none of these were Just Hit Pause LP covers.

Best of luck to all!

Comments:
You're a better man than I Gunga Hansmann. I could only get 35. Is there an answer key somewhere? A couple of those are driving me nuts (and a couple are completely unfamiliar)

No answer key that I know of. Which ones are you having difficulties with? Maybe I can offer a hint.

I can sat there are more hard-rock/proto-metal covers here than I would have expected.

Here are the ones I cannot get.

Row 1, #5
Row 2, #1 & 3
Row 3, #3, 4, & 5
I swear #4 in that row is a Lynyrd Skynyrd cover, but I can’t find the original LP name.

Row 4, #5
Row 5, #..oops…I got all of these…
Row 6, #3 & 5
Row 7, #4
Row 8, #4
Row 9, #1, 2, 3, & 5

OMFG I cannot believe one of the FEW I actually know is Row 9, #5--Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA!

Yay for me!

Eric- row 3
#4- Lynyrd Skynryd - Street Survivor

Row 9-

#2- CSNY- Deja Vu
#3- U2- Rattle & Hum

Wow- think of all the important things I've forgotten. These things, however, I haven't.

Row 1#5 I think is a moody blues album but I don't know the names of any of them.
Row 3 #4 is in fact Skynyrd - S.S. is the initials.
Row 3 #5 is supposedly the photo of a famous bat chomping singer in drag.
Row 6 #3 is stategically place next to Crimson as they shared a bass player.
Row 9 #2 I have the strangest feeling that I've seen that somewhere before,
Row 9 #3 You, too, should get this if you Rattle your brain a bit.

The other's were the same ones I couldn't get. Row 6 #5 is maddening - I can see the cover.

sorry - I left the computer in mid post and while I was gone Nellma and Ian filled in some of the holes.

Thanks Joe, Ian and Nell (although I did get that one Nell).

It seems I mis-posted one of those that are difficult. Row 3, #6 is the one I meant to post. I'm not too paranoid about Row 3, #5, but that next one is odd.

Row 9, #3 is now recognizable. I was thinking it was from a Clash LP, but obviously not. Rattle & Hum was one I never did bring into the home archive.

Nell, there are three or four there that you should be able to get.

Yup, that's about what I can get. Some others look familiar but the neurons aren't firing as well as they once did. Find me a quiz where you have to match brand name drugs with their generic names. That I can ace!

Okay, now that I'm sitting here concentrating I'm up to 10--pretty good for me I think.

Yeah, I have four...and I thought that was pretty good. What's fun is, the more you look at them, the more some of them start to become familiar again. I'm not looking at any of your answers yet.

Anyway, thanks Eric, this is fun.
